Time burns away my memory,
But Sycamore will always be.

Sycamore, at the corner of Riverside.
We were young. We were lonely. You asked me for a ride.
Where did we drive that day? I don’t remember.
No matter anyway for the place. ‘Cause the smile on your face
cast a golden glow and made my soul surrender.

Time burns away my memory,
But Sycamore will always be.

We were cold, with the top down, we went inside.
We were young and we were lonely. I asked you for a ride.
And what we did that night, I still remember.
The fire burned so bright in the room. But the sun came too soon
for the golden glow of the embers.

Time burns away my memory,
But Sycamore will always be.

Sycamore, at the corner of Riverside.
All those miles and all those years ago and still you’re by my side.
So much of time and space, I don’t remember.
But, there are treasures time can’t erase, like the smile on your face.
In the golden glow, the golden glow of our December.
